Elliot Rodger, the 22-year-old who killed six students in the college town of Isla Vista in 2014, was the first “alt-right killer” to strike in recent years, according to a new report from the Southern Poverty Law Center.
The report counts Rodger among 13 alleged alt-right killers whose actions left 43 people dead and more than 60 injured since 2014.

Rodger was taken up as an ironic icon almost immediately by the alternative right. MGTOWs, upon gaining power, will announce an annual Eliot Rodger Day. For now, its infamy though.

Here are the SPLC’s criteria:

The alleged perpetrators were all men and most were under 30 years of age, the report says. The common thread: All participated in the “far-right ecosystem that defines the alt-right.”
One of them made several references to Rodger before carrying out his attack last year, the report says.
William Edward Atchison used the pseudonym of “Elliot Rodger” online and praised the “supreme gentleman,” a moniker Rodger gave himself that became an alt-right meme, according to the report. Atchison, 21, entered a New Mexico high school Dec. 7 and killed two students before taking his own life.
The list also includes Dylann Roof, the white supremacist convicted of fatally shooting nine black members of a Bible study class in South Carolina in 2015.

Participating in the “far-right ecosystem” probably describes anyone who keeps up with the news and isn’t fully pozzed, including of course more than a few non-whites. Twitter just sent me their email (which I can’t find alas) informing me of my account’s re-tweeting of, I assume, Russian bots and other undesirable accounts. I think this puts me very much in the far-right ecosystem. Now if I run amok for any reason, I’m a ready-made alt right terrorist.

Rodger became a political extremist because of his fascination with Nazis.

Kelly Hoover, public information officer for the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office, said she had not read the Law Center’s report but noted that investigators had previously documented Rodger’s interest in Nazi figures. 

“That’s something that did come out as part of the investigation,” Hoover said.
A 2015 report by the sheriff’s office revealed Rodger’s research of Nazis, including some of the main architects of the Holocaust. The report does not mention the alt-right. 

“Upon review of the suspect’s internet search history, investigators have learned that the suspect was very interested in some of the practices and techniques of the Third Reich,” the sheriff’s report said. “The suspect’s in-depth research included information about Joseph Goebbels and Heinrich Himmler, two infamous members of the Nazi hierarchy.” 

The internet search history log shows Rodger had looked for terms such as “If you were Adolf Hitler” and “Nazi curbstomp.”

There used to be room for an apolitical understanding of the Nazis and an appreciation of their aesthetic, which holds up well now. I daresay it’s timeless.

When I was a kid we had an old book about World War II that was full of amazing photographs, many of them of Nazi rallies. I was unquestioningly an American patriot who viewed World War II and Nazis just as I was supposed to. Nonetheless I was fascinated by the imagery and took a little pride even, being descended from German and Dutch immigrants, in the achievements of Nazi Germany.

The thing is, you don’t have to know, or care, who is who to make a judgement on aesthetic value. I accepted that Nazi Germany was the height of evil. Nonetheless, they looked pretty cool. But our aesthetic at the time wasn’t so bad either. Not so anymore.

No one in the future, I imagine, is going to look at old photos of social justice warriors in our time with the same fascination. Perhaps in the telling, when our grandchildren (few, biracial) watch the celebratory films about their triumph over the “neo” Nazis the marchers will be attractive and smartly dressed. I’m glad I won’t be there to find out.

An alternative news website is reporting the recent shootings of African migrants on the streets of the central Italian city of Macerata were prompted by the rape and murder of an 18 year-old Italian girl. A native Italian was arrested after shooting at random Africans from his car.

The respectable press routinely buries such details but even if they’re forced to acknowledge them the shooter still becomes statistical fodder for the common argument that “right wing extremists” and not, say, Muslim terrorists, are the Real Problem. We’re not allowed our reasons–any more than the Muslims, who never can be acknowledged to represent Real Islam, whatever it is.

This seems the fundamental problem with the “right wing terrorist” argument, if you’re the modern West determined to displace its own with colonies from abroad: the Muslim and the right wing (and let’s for the moment accept their notion of one) terrorist are not the same thing.

We actually have a side, and that’s the only real distinction to be made.

Forget that the notion relies on questionable definitions of terror and ignorance of proportional representation–their own numbers reveal the percentage of terrorists emanating from the Muslim population dwarf that of the non-Muslim or white population.

Forget Muslim terror attacks actually produce more right wing extremism (again, we’re not allowed to take our own side, collectively forced to take the passive stance of the liberal).

The real sin of the right wing terrorist obfuscation is that it makes no distinction between Muslims and us–indeed, it assumes the Muslims are as much part of us as the right wingers, who are not truly us (“not who we are”). Even as the average Muslim, almost as much as his terrorist co-ethnic, doesn’t feel very much like us, and certainly is under no pressure (like that upon us) to adopt to us, much less become one of us. Because that would not be Who We Are.

Indeed, if the Muslims are more Who We Are than the evil right wingers, then we’re actually on their side, and the terrorists they produce are understandable, endurable. Above all, non-representative. Not so the white extremists, who oppose the very diversity the Muslims so wonderfully represent.

I think I’ve followed their, let’s call it, Good Logic correctly.

The Eugene School District has paid $24,000 to settle a lawsuit filed by a parent whose child was attacked at school.

Olga Telsheva sought $625,000 when the suit was filed last year. She alleged that officials failed to protect her son from being beaten up by a classmate twice on Nov. 13, 2015. One assault happened between classes at North Eugene High School and the other was during gym class.

The lawsuit was filed on Telsheva’s behalf by attorney Kevin Brague. The Register-Guard reports that Eugene-area school districts have settled three lawsuits filed by Brague on behalf of parents in the past two years.

It appears this Portland personal injury lawyer is trying to carve out a niche suing schools over bullying but so far it doesn’t sound like it’s proving very lucrative

Each lawsuit sought damages of $600,000 or more and settled for $30,000 or less.

My mind instantly goes to the racist gutter of course, but if I don’t miss my guess the rapid and enthusiastic browning of the Willamette Valley (Portland is at its north, where the Willamette river flows into the Columbia) is leading to many more placid white kids getting bullied by dominant minorities.

I wonder if there’s any potential for class action.

Because let’s be perfectly frank: [the Grammys are] the single most sexist, misogynist and abusive awards show of them all, celebrating many of the most sexist, misogynist and abusive people in an amoral industry of spectacular proportions.
If you thought Hollywood’s bad, it’s got nothing on the record business, particularly in the worlds of hip-hop and rap.

Take Big Sean, a rapper whose lyrics are littered with misogynistic and homophobic material.
In the video for his single ‘I Don’t F*ck With You’, the Detroit rapper talks about ‘stupid ass b*tches.’

He collaborated last year on a song with Eminem which included lyrics about ‘urinating on Fergie’ and raping Conservative talk show host Ann Coulter ‘with a Klan poster, a lamp post, a door handle and a damn bolt cutter.’

He doesn’t just write about treating women badly, he acts on it too.

In 2011, Big Sean was arrested in New York for sexual abuse, unlawful imprisonment and forcible touching of a 17-year-old girl after a concert. Some charges were dropped after he accepted a guilty plea for unlawful imprisonment of the girl, a fan.

This would have led to him being banned from continuing to work in almost any other job.
But not the music industry.

This year, Big Sean was nominated for a Grammy.

Hip-hop and rap stars like him have made millions from writing music and making videos that depict women as prostitutes, sexual objects and ‘b*tches’.

One of the biggest winners last night night was Kendrick Lamar, whose most recent album is riddled with graphic sexually-charged lyrics and repeated references to ‘hoes’ and ‘b*tches’.

Like everyone else the Grammys were compelled to make their show a grim affair (I assume; I haven’t watched it) about sexual harassment. But hip hop now dominates popular music and misogyny dominates hip hop. In years past the Grammys perhaps could have ignored them still, but black political advocacy is too powerful in the Current Year.

There are so few clean acts to nominate or perform the show has no choice but to engage in comic hypocrisy and hope no one notices.

And they get away with it. Sure, their ratings tank and a pall covers everything. Their compromise with decency in giving the award for Album of the Year to the good-natured Bruno Mars instead of critical, political and popular favorite Kendrick Lamar, a rapper-demagogue whose work is received like scripture by bumptious blacks, means they don’t get off without catching a little flak at least. But, maybe, had Kendrick (as embarrassingly unrestrained as TaNehisi Coates) won things finally would have given under the weight of hypocrisy and people would have noticed. But that’s the value of a declining audience.

Such as the Grammys aren’t made for the old traditional white audience that still watches them (boomers won’t get to age along with comfortable, unchanging institutions–not punishment enough perhaps, but bitter still). Being made for everyone else they’re no really made for anyone. A case study in diversity, with Whitey cut out and still everyone else going away unhappy.

Black civil rights and feminism are both unchecked now and increasingly at odds as the two superpowers of the Coalition of the Fringes, perhaps with an eye toward a post-US endgame. Hip hop dominates black culture, and black masculinity dominates hip hop.

Where our cognitive dissonance goes is anyone’s guess. I suspect pharmaceuticals help where a low IQ can’t.

Brutish blacks dominate culture that views whites as inferior at the same time that whites are hounded for their supposed oppression of blacks. These things are not unrelated. These are levels of mass humiliation the old revolutionaries couldn’t imagine.

But I don’t think it ends well.

Good livestreams are about the most fun entertainment I can imagine right now. Television has done every idea to death and is full poz. Sports are, well…

But a good contentious livestream has an appeal similar to sports, in that it’s unscripted and involves real risk for the participants. In sports someone can literally die. No one literally died on the Warski podcast, but Luke killed, and listening to his counterpart cite “collectivism” and “meritocracy” I wanted to kill myself.
Livestreaming is to recorded and written commentary as sports is to fiction and scripted entertainment.

Hilariously, for all the savage red-pilling Luke was offering, hackles and interest were raised in earnest only when he suggested giving up porn and masturbation. Alas, we have a long way to go.
